Riding From San Diego To Glamis on an ATC 250R!! ( World Record ) Rain, Ice, Wheelies, Cops.. INSANE!!

I had an epic ride on my dirt bike many years ago. A buddy and I took off from West Garden Grove and made our way to Saddleback Park on Senior Ditch Day.
We rode the railroad tracks, Santa Ana River bed, other creeks, and I’m sure a few Farmer’s fields up through the canyon.

It was a great day/ride. One I’ll never forget.

It is possible, and i’ve done it from plaster city to glamis and from the river to glamis and salton sea  to glamis, numerous times on my old xr650r. You will still need a plate, but it can be done using farm fields and only crossing rds

 
my neighbor said he found a site that was run by a guy who traveled all over the US on a bike and did not use any paved highways.  My neighbor maped a trip from WA to San Diego for a ride with his son.  I dug around but could not find the site.... :(
