Before heading down for the Baja 400 prerun, I decided to give the Gearone Super CV boots a try. Overall, I’m very pleased with the product and plan to continue using them on the car moving forward.
In the past, I’ve had issues with the Bates boots coming apart. Their main problem is rigidity — they’re more likely to tear than flex. In contrast, the Gearone boots have held up great after a few hundred miles and will definitely stay on the car through dune season.
Parker from Gearone deserves a lot of credit for listening to duners and desert racers, and for designing products that meet our needs. His latest release, the Podium Lubricants CV Grease, is another solid example. I encourage everyone to support his business — check out his website and the high-quality parts he’s producing.
Maybe we can even talk GlamisDunes.com into doing a business feature and shop tour on the forum!
