Quarter Million Miles

Fwiw, those 97 fords roll back to 300k after 399999. If you havent had them long they may have even more miles than that! Be camera ready when yours do it
Ya I have a 96 FSuper Duty that has 493k but it only reads 93k

Do you still have the Dodge/Cummins?

If so are you still happy with it?

If not why did you get rid of it?
I traded it to a friend a while back for a low mile OBS PSD for the engine for my daughter’s truck (the 97 PSD with 325k). I was pretty happy with it tho. It was great on fuel and pretty dependable but needed to get the F250 going for my daughter. The F250 had a K&N on it when I got it and had probably been on there for a long time so it was pretty much dusted. Still managed to get a few years out of it before it was just too low on compression to keep going.

Just remembered my 89 jeep cherokee has almost 300k miles. In the last 5 or so years i’ve had it, it has strictly been a off road vehicle (with the exception of to and from trails) its been an ongoing driving project since I bought it. One day i’ll finish it or sell it. That 5.3 from the tahoe would be great in the jeep

Best car ever! 2004 Escalade. Bought used in 2006 with 30k miles on it. Gave it another 315k miles over 14 years. Drove it on 4 miles of bumpy DIRT road every day. Had icey snowy mornings every winter, many 120 degree river trips.  Engine, AC, suspension, all great! Tons of memories. Only thing I ever did was Cadillac replaced the tranny at 100k, did a water pump, power steering, and some belts/hoses. Mobile 1 oil change every 10k miles religiously. Was a great truck. Started to have electrical issues. Sold it last year at 345k miles. Hoping its new owner gets another 14 years.

Sold my 96 7.3 with 365,000 on it. My dad bought it new, I got it in 2005 and put more miles on it than he did. Bought a 6.0 Powerstroke 8/2021 with 199k on it and Im at 260k now. Dad has an 05 Powerstroke with 420,000 or so. Dont have any first hand knowledge of a 6.0 with more miles than that, but am sure theres plenty out there. Take care of your stuff and it will go! I have no plans to get a newer (or even different) truck anytime soon unless its for my wife. I hope to keep mine for a long while.

My 01 7.3 has 200 something, maybe 230? Haven't looked for a while as I don't drive it much anymore. I remember reading about a delivery driver in Brazil that has a 7.3 with over 1 million miles. All documented, services all done at the dealer since day 1. Original engine. Hpop and injectors replaced, and a few random sensors, but that was it...

Motorhome caught the 140,000 while doing 70! It's now at 182,000. Peace

This cracks me up.  Especially when she shows her wheel gun.
