Every customer is going to have a different level they need to be at. To detail an engine bay correctly and deal with other issues can easily be 10 hours of Labor. This would make me nuts..................... brand new, bitchen a.s.s motor, but crusty old engine bay. my head would virtually implode...
Back when lingenfelter built that motor it was special 421 cubic inch small block. Special block and heads. Back in the day they did something special to make the factory computer work. I believe burning a chip of some sort.Nowadays you would not do it that way. You would just do an aftermarket standalone system to run it. Everything got put back to the way it was when this project was done. Even ordering the special cam from lingenfelter.what kind of special things are in the LPE motor?
which EFI does it have in it?
Will you guys be using one of the GMPP kits?Doing a ground up on a 1970 C10 Chevy pickup. Motor will be a 6.2 LS based. Six speed automatic transmission. Rolling chassis together and ready to go over to the paint shop. They will be bolting on the body and the bed for fitment.
Pretty sure it will be a Holley kit. I will post pics when we get there. Will you guys be using one of the GMPP kits?
My brother just had 525hp kit done in his '86 C10. It rips! The 6L80 in Sport mode is sweet.
How cool is that to have a pet skunk. I’ve always wanted one and also a pet Raccoon.Oh yeah, well I built a "mobility cart" for my pet skunk that is having issues with nerves in her back legs!! (Does that count?) All aluminum, brass, and velvet.
