People with property - utility trailer for cuttings/general use

Let me ask you this… it’s only an acre or so right, after you get it cleaned up how much other debris do you think you would have? Don’t over think it and look into a chipper/shredder instead. In fact, maybe buy a real small one to mulch leaves and small wood to start and burn anything too big in a fire pit. I am the master at buying equipment for a job so it can sit in the barn just in case.😂
This. I have 3 acres with a creek running diagonally through the property, so chit is growing year round.

Get a chipper and a brush hog, and max out the green waste bins from the trash company. I’ve never had to dispose of green waste at the dump. Worst that happens (cutting down a tree)  is I fill up the bins for 3 straight weeks from a pile.

Only part of property that isn’t cleared is the south 1/2 acre or so, but that’s because it’s overrun with poison oak. F to the Uck that, it can stay.

Chipper into mulch is fun for gardening.

I’d wait a season or 2 and see if you really need it.

After seeing your property in the previous post I think after the initial clean up to your liking it will not be that bad . So you may just be over thinking things.  But just in case just be on the lookout for a trailer with sides that you get a good deal on.  I have access to a 5'X10' trailer that has 4' sides and I can't believe the amount of stuff I can get in it and how quick I can unload it at the transfer station. So just watch the local green paper or whatever it is called as well as Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for the sweetheart deal and that should be all you need for dump trailer.

We don't have green waste bins, trash company doesn't provide them.

Word.

I can still chip up an amazing amount of green waste with the chipper and a compost pile.  Good for the garden, good for the soul, use the land you have.

My brother in law has an acre he also has some three wheelers so he went to tractor supply bought a small box trailer and has a hitch on one atc so it’s a good combo uses it for branches etc.

Taking all the suggestions to heart. I have a lot of decomposed granite in the front so I don't need mulch for that portion. Small grass area & dg in the fenced in area in back so no need there. The other areas are covered with tall trees and short to med trees. I do have a raised garden area behind the 3 car garage but I won't be growing anything there for a while.

The chipper/shredder sounds good but I think I really want to and need to get the debris off the property so I keep going back to a trailer. That and I can get free mulch at the dump. The trash service/company I have does not haul green waste away.

A small dedicated trailer with sides would be great, then I think if I am going to have a trailer maybe it should at least be able fit my Harley on it if I ever need to tow it somewhere, That is 9' long so a 5x10 would do the trick, I can tow that with my Jeep if needed.

Decisions,,,,,

These little trailers aren't total POS like at HF.  You will have to assemble it tho....  But, it comes with a MCO, and is street legal.  You can get them through Home Depot or Tractor supply.

We use/mod the smaller version in galvanized as a base for some of the equipment we build.  Way cheaper than building the same thing from scratch.

They have assembly videos on their site, and have good instructions.  You CAN do it....

One nice feature is the bed can tilt to help dump waste, or load your HD.
