Has anyone experienced both? and is the TRAX significantly better?

if I am reading it correctly, to get the full benefit of the TRAX system you need to run new cables and new headsets as well?

currently have a standard intercom w/ the old school racer X mini amp tied into it... and I upgraded the speakers in the basic headsets. It sounds decent... but wanting bluetooth connectivity #1 and #2 would like even better music quality,

I've had both, didn't see a significant difference but admittingly my ears are shot.
I'm building a new car with PCI communications and in talking to PCI they said the Trax has better bass but that's it.
What they did recommend is going to their new Elite G2 Headsets and is what I ended up doing.
So went with the Kenwood Radio, Elite Plus (BT) Intercom and the G2 Headsets.....now the car is not done so can't advise on how it all sounds but I've always used PCI and never been disappointed.

And yes, switching to TRAX is all new cables, headsets and of course the TRAX Intercom.

Trax is stereo and Elite is mono, which is why new cables are required. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think there is a difference in the sound quality other than being stereo. I've asked PCI a few different times if the actual frequency response or fidelity is any better, but never got a straight answer from them. I would not count on Trax being any better than Elite, other than being stereo. That said, the new G2 speakers do seem like a noticeable difference compared to the older ones. On the other hand, the Trax system really wouldn't have any downsides other than running new cables.

I have a PCI elite intercom . Non BT
Wanted to switch to a BT intercom till I seen the price .

Added this works great . Just need to charge or wire in with charger

Trax is much better sounding than Rugged radio in my experience. I have my PCI system setup to one switch and it turns on the radio and intercom. Once i turn it on it instantly connects to my phone and plays music from my Spotify. Phone calls through the helmet work also with one touch of the Polaris Ride Command screen to answer. PCI is a much better quality kit opposed from the Rugged Radio kits i have had in the past.

PLUS!!!! you cant beat the tech help on site at Glamis for stupid questions.
