PCI Trax OTH or BTH??

We run Pci over the head sets. We also have Pci helmets if needed that are wired.  I wear mine with a ball cap on backwards, over the head set then put the goggles on. I like using the goggle strap to tie it all together and hold the headset in place.

I actually know some people over at PCI and they told me the behind the head are for boats where the wind can blow them off your head.  I have no experience but that is what I was told.   

That's odd. I've tried BTH headsets a few times and when we reached a certain speed, I don't recall - 50? 55? mph, the headsets blew off. I've never had that problem with OTH at much higher speeds. It seems to me the OTH had tighter clamping force on my head/ears, which is probably why it stayed on better. I've been using helmets for ages now both in the rail and SxS, I get better protection from sand and it's much quieter when I use the intercom or radio.
