Same for me. Friends family had a place right on the water just north of Badenocks (sic) and we would go every year for a week. Good times jet boating in the early morning, water skiing after that with river floats in the afternoon. This was early 90s
 
Cattail cove on havazoo is awesome, we boat there 3 times a year during the winter

for the parker strip you really can't pic a bad spot, there may be bad apples or snow birds from time to time

I haven't stayed in needles yet. the water is better there for jet boats? I've gotten into some dicey situations in parker with my jet boat as well due to the damn wake boats.
 
In my opinion its way better for us Jets, just the scenery isn't that great. Water level is only an issue at 2 units or less from Laughlin. When the water is up 3-4 you can go all the way to Laughlin easy. The london jet cruise boat runs at 2 units from laughlin to Havasu daily.

Right at Needles between jack Smith ramp and the bridge is the only spot where it gets super busy with tourists, the rest of the river is open & full of actual boaters.

We boat this entire area from Willow Valley to the Sand bar.

North of Needles- this section Willow Valley to the Avi Casino is shallow at 2 units. Then opens back up normal depths all the way to the dam.
