Painting Engine Block and Trans

Anyone paint their 2D and engine block crinkle black? Considering doing it for the Honda car I'm building - clean up the look a bit.

Didn't do crincle. block went satin VHT rattle can, everything else was powder coated gloss or satin black. looked good! held up well.

Everytime we've run painted trans cases through the various cleaning process (hot tank, solvent, etc.) the paint peels off.

Cerakote seems to have the best hold when running through the cleaners.
