Padres this off season went out and finally spent some money and signed pitchers that are really good against the Dodgers, but middle of the road versus the rest of the league.  What do they do moving forward if they can't turn this skid around?  These players are locked up.  Fact is, Tatis is hurt, and he is the spark on this team.  He hates the outfield and his attitude shows it.  Croneworth is a stud and he is a great player.  Pham, Profar and Grisham are punks and aren't good for the team long term.  I could make an argument for Grisham for his defense, but that is about it.

What do I know, I am a Dodger fan and Slim is the baseball expert.....ha

HA HA!  And you are trying to tell me that Muncy has a good attitude, and Chase Utley was not a dirty player ?  Cmon Man!  Preller has a mess on his hands right now, cant see how Tingler keeps his job after this season.  He is the Mike McCoy of the MLB.

BTW, I did see Justin Turner pitch yesterday as they got shut out by the Rockies....................Meanwhile, SD is hoping we don't get no hit again by AZ tonight.  Baseball is a crazy game.

No question Manny is very talented but could be even better with a little more hustle. 
Baez and crew should stick to playing better not gesturing to the fans that pay to see them

Haha I remember a Padres player flipping the bird to the fans after a home run to get him out of a slump. Can’t remember who it was.

Slam Diego showed up last night, bomb by Tatis......................but still lost.  I think the Padres have the worst record since the trade deadline this year, total embarrassment.  I am already looking forward to all the changes they make in the off season, only to end up in the same position every year............at home watching.

TATIS, 1 of only 5 players to hit it out of Chavez Ravine!   That place has a lot of history, and only 5 people have done it.

The Padres absolutely tanked this year, it was like watching a train wreck over and over again.  Sadly, We are still a long ways away from being a real contender.  We had a fun first half, but its a long season and this team wasn't built for that. We hired another rookie manager and once again we have zero pitching.  Its not easy being a Padre fan.

I like your trivia question , LMAO!  Yes we know, HA ha !!

The Dodgers have some work cut out, STL is the hottest team in the league, looks like it will come down to one game.  Shcherzer and Bueller have been getting hit pretty hard lately.  Good Luck

Tatis' bomb left stadium.  Doesn't happen very often.  I was at the game in 1999 when his father hit 2 Grand Slams off of Chan Ho Park in the same inning.  When he came up with the bases loaded the second time, I was screaming to take Chan Ho out.  Then he hits the second one and I just started cheering.  I took my mom to the game and remember telling her all those around us that what we'd just seen had probably never happened and that you will probably never see it again . . .

As usual, the Padres "Road to the World Series" involves driving to the ticket office of some other team.  Biggest collapse in recent memory.

 
I love the excitement, finally selling out the stadium with their own fans.  The next two years they will be good until they have to pay up.  They better win the World Series quickly or this is going to blow up big time.
