We are planning a trip next year to visit the dunes in Oregon, has anyone stayed at the KOA? how far is the ride to the dunes? is it sand or asphalt?

Jonathan. last time I was there was 2008 and it was about 1mile of poorly paved / gravel from the park to the OHV sand.
