Does anyone have a recommendation for a decent 12v oil extractor pump? I'm not looking for the kind that draws out the dipstick tube. I have an oil drain line connected to the bottom of the pan. I need to change the oil in my wakeboard boat. The oil does not gravity drain very well but supposedly comes out easily with a pump hooked to the drain line. I don't mind spending a few bucks for a better pump but I don't think I need to spend $250 either. I don't want one of those that is mounted on a bucket. Just a simple pump I can connect and pump to my oil drain pan.

Those FASS DRP fuel lift pumps do an ok job of pumping oil. They're just over $200 for the FASS brand pump or there's a chinese knockoff for less than $100 that might do what you need it to. They're 12 volt and come with hose barbs. They have an internal bypass regulator that you can change the pressure with by adding a stiffer spring or by stretching the spring it comes with

I remembered I have a Reverso brand system on my big boat that works really well. I found this portable one they make but dang it's expensive:

Also found a Jabsco system and they are known for good pumps:

Nice thing about these is the pumps are serviceable. Looks like I'm going to talk myself into spending more again 🤑

After looking further at what you recommended I went with basically the same thing but in the Mighty Vac version.

I use that exact set up on my boat and it works well. I always change it after a day on the lake and the oil sucks out easly due to its hott. I draw it out throw the dip stick tube. I have the same line on my oil pan but its desined to to poke out the hull then draiin. Are you planing to come up with some adapter for the mighty vac to hook up to the drain line? Interested to see how you make it work.

Also i would go onto the big brother of this site river daves place and ask that question. Im sure youll get more options and ideas.

Yes, I plan to set it up to connect direct to the drain line. I believe the fitting on the drain hose is 1/4" so I'll use airline quick disconnect and fittings.
