Nursing School

Crazy thing she ain’t going for nursing she’s going for civil engineering. But whatever she chooses it’s her and that’s what she wants to do.

So far she’s loving it being at school but we miss her. She can be a little Tom boy she prefers a bike over a quad and likes to ride a 550 jet ski. Best words 4 years ago dad can you teach me how to ride your jet ski. My response was lil Princess I’ll buy you one.

She got a clean 94 550 reed. I only got a 90 piston port. 🙈😂but she says we’re going to glamis New Years.
My son has his engineering degree from NAU, works as Civil Engineer in Scottsdale, doing extremely well for himself

Brother is a nurse practitioner and went to a small private university. He makes BANK!

He’s worked at community hospitals, Scripps La Jolla, and a few other places. It’s a great career that can take you anywhere you want to go.

No need to spend big money on a big name university for nursing. Not saying you shouldn’t try but it’s not a requirement to make money in nursing.

I would NEVER recommend USC to anyone. After what we went through, that school is a Huge piece of shit. 👎

yopur in socal, anything "community" or low cost is tough to get into and will take years to complete since she wont be able to get all the classes she needs for the degree in a timely matter. pay up and go to loma linda and when she graduates apply and get into travel nursing.

I believe when she turns 24 your income won't be applicable when applying for a grant / loan. My nephew went through RCCs program and was obligated to work at Riverside Community and did not like it another family member went through SBVCs program years ago and it worked out well. If she's up to traveling go private, My daughter went to PLNU and son CBU and their friends in the nursing programs traveled nursed after graduation and paid their loans off pretty quickly. They have lived some really cool places and are really enjoying it and the income.

What kind of money are we talking when you say BANK?
Depends on the field if nursing. Wife’s hospital up to $110 an hour for the super speciality fields last I asked her, and that was 10 years ago.

Wife pulls near that.
It’s a tough job, have to be geared for that line of work.

Overtime is essential and critical and pays real good but with taxes so high nurses often turn it down.
