Anyone watching the last few days over there? The UK (as well as half of the EU) imported more than enough to turn themselves into third world shitholes and dying the death of a thousand cuts for a while now... Sudanese Islamic immigrant attempted a beheading in the street the other night and the citizens have had enough and taking to the streets.... school is out, busses not running, businesses closed early, etc... fire bombing tenement houses holding immigrants. The people are pissed and Belfast is burning.

Damn did not hear about this

Thats where we are headed. CLOSE THE EFFING BORDERS!!!!!!! and fix our own issues here, FAWK everyone else!!!!

50% of our country supports this here.

Good that there rising up and taking some action
Sad that it came to this

The US is headed in this direction.
Maybe at a snail's pace. Too much bread and circus. Too much divide and distract here. Too many opportunities to disconnect and be apathetic. Too much anti-nationalism and "internal" support for the destruction of our Nation. I don't think we'll ever get the civil war or unrest that would be necessary to make real change.

One can hope. But "You can hope in one hand and shit in the other"

350 million people here vs 6 million people in Ireland means the same pushback will be much harder here. Plus most of our highly populated cities have a higher concentration of stupid people that actually support importing these subhuman savages. One can hope though.

Exactly. It's an even smaller scale though. This is taking place in Northern Ireland - about 9 "counties" making up a different country of ~less than 2 million and it's part of the UK and the crown... the protestants as it were. The Republic of Ireland is a separate country and under their own rule, not the British crown, and that's the ~6mil population number. There's indication that the Republic has people traveling north in support for revolution.

That's not a minor thing. The Troubles are still fresh in most minds. People anywhere near our age grew up with the border between the two policed by military, significant violence almost daily, and even today in a lot of places the idea of a protestant and catholic getting married is about the reaction a mixed race would get here in the 1950s... they spent 1800 years burning down each others shit and may actually unite against a greater evil than each other in orange vs green.

It's as close as the two Ireland's have come to reuniting for anything since they split ~105 years ago. A lot of the younger generation on both sides, post-The Troubles, want a reunification and one Ireland... fingers crossed that this is the catalyst to finally get some traction and that shitty crown the fuck out of at least one whole Island...
