Newscum Sneaks "Mileage Tax" Into Larger Bill.

So out of staters are exempt? I guess I am officially moving all my registrations to rental property in other states

The day I am charged per mile - I am Gone OR I will disconnect the odometer - No way No how am I paying per mile - Nope

Our second home ( family farm where my sister lives ) is in Nebraska. That’s kind of the home base and starting point for our summer
travels. We usually send six months there over the summer and travel to the eastern states. When the weather changes and it’s gets
cold we come to our home in so cal. It’s tuff to beat the winters in so cal.
I have always registered my truck and 5th wheel there because of the cheap registration fees that Nebraska has. The car we keep here in so cal has always been registered here. We don’t tow the car out of state with us, it remains here 12 months a year. I always thought
that was fair enough because it our family car and what we use as our car in the winter.
If they pass a mileage tax I will definitely register the car out of state.

Got out 6 years ago when I realized "why was I going through the hassle of learning and buying sh!t to reload, because the effed up state was taxing me to be able to purchase ammo". I don't spend a dime in that screwed up state, and yes, that goes for buying a effing glamis pass.
Glad i learned reloading, and got all the equipment, but FU(K CA and their stupid BS.

Everyone has their breaking point, and I encourage anyone saying "that's it, I'm out" actually follows through. Vote with your wallet/purse.

Do it, I guarantee you won't ragert it.

You can bet there’s going to be a tip line for turning in people with out of state plates that are living in Cali. Be cool with your neighbors if you’re going this route.

7 other houses on my Cul de Sac, but there is only one house (the wife) that hates me LOL......oh hell yeah, she would rat me out...

The beauty of the out of state plate ticket, is YOU have to prove the CAR is out of state for more than 6 months out of the year.....good luck. They have cameras EVERYWHERE and will F you up one side and down the other. It will be written into legislation that out of state plates are probable cause to pull cars over. They already have a team that deals with out of state plates, it will get bigger. This state is F'd completely. If you have a company car.....the company will be taxed and you will be taxed not only by the fed at 63 cents a mile but by the state as well..so it won't be a perk anymore at all.

My understanding, Doesn't matter where car is registered its a tax on new home builds, could equate to up to 16.2k per year added on mortgage of a new home purchase, apartments will get hit as well... Glad I left.

Spot on. You can bet the fines for being caught trying to circumvent the mileage tax will be significant as implementation goes forward.
Not to worry though, the reparations committee is suggesting that descendants of slaves shouldn’t be subjected to increased cost of driving a personal vehicle.

Surprisingly to some I’m starting to look at moving back to Cali, once the cost of living drives the dirty - shitty folks out it’ll be a paradise!

My family is from the South during the early 1800, I think i am going to apply. How do they determine who was a slave?? Color alone. I have a great great great great great Grandmother that was black, at least that was what I was told.

I heard one part of the determination is how tall you are laying on your back.
