New to me Funco: 2002 #15 (revised)

Congrats! Great car. I'd love to get my hands on an old 2 seat Hustler........when the time comes.

 
Congratulations on the purchase!!! I know that car very very well!! Still have the sales receipt from Grant!! Had some amazing  in that car with many board members in the rearview mirror! I got to check it out a couple months ago. Was very tempted to buy it back!! Have fun!!

Flashpoint and I will be down in G this weekend....if you happen to be in the neighborhood! Car looks great! She never left me walking in all the years I owned her. I'll have to dig up some of my old photos of it on the jig at Funco.

As it turns out, will be at pad 3 this Tuesday through next Tuesday with a bunch of GD peeps all weekend! Can’t miss the GV wrapped trailer - holler when ya get in! :cheers:

Well definitely swing by! We're rolling in Wednesday evening. We usually shoot for pad 2, 4 or the flats.... whatever has the best room. 

 
**Had to edit the post - turns out this is a Gen3 SSE coil car from 2002 and originally built and owned by @FASTER DADDY - good seeing you the other day and really appreciate the intel on this gem

That was a few days ago and I'm old  :classic_rolleyes:  So not sure what the SSE stood for. Lets just say SUPER SANO ECONOMY.

I can tell you why my Dad called them when we did them with Coils.

LEBEC

E. Every

B. Body

E. Else's

C. Car 

That is a gen 3 based car and I don't recall ever upgrading it from coils to Air Bags. Looks to be in excellent condition and original. 

 
@South Bay You asked for pics of the Funco :cool:

New PS pump installed as well as brand new PS lines. Dropped off the spare rack with Grant for rebuild. Swapped out the old implements for some new Bajas. Replaced front heims, seat belts, and prepping for an epic season.

Need to update the intercom and all headset and PTT wiring, it's gotten brittle over the years.

Making notes this season and may plan for some upgrades/refresh here and there but nothing too crazy... the air ride controller and a tank, dash, update the panels and add a wing (like the old blue shop car) may swap the rear to mid-boards from these stubs.
