I've had a '15 GT PP and a '19 GT350. Not sure what the dude that returned the GT350 back to stock was doing behind the wheel but to state it was boring was humorous; that car is unbelievably capable and generates an unreal amount of traction in the turns. It can be pushed ridiculously hard on track or street and it's impossible to not smile. If the sound above 6k rpm doesn't give you a boner but a Stinger does it for you, I don't know what to say. To even put these two in the same sentence is laughable.
I've never driven the turbo 4 but I've been in a number of GTs outside my own. The 10s auto is fantastic (mine was a 6sp manual); it is always on power and never stops pulling. Just a flat out fantastic combo in that car and I'm a manual snob. The Getrag (6sp manual) is sloppy, sounds like it's going die at any moment, and doesn't like the 2-3 shift out of the box but somehow holds up. The Tremec in the GT350/Mach 1 is a huge upgrade and a pleasure to drive.
I'm not a big fan of the S650s body package but wouldn't hesitate to mob another S550. The performance pack cars are the way to go; the brake and cooling package are well worth the money. Later cars with available performance pack 2 have the better suspension as well which is killer on this platform.
Bang for the buck, the S550 is very hard to beat. The Camaro is in the same boat. Both just killer cars the are incredibly capable.
