Yore not wrong in thinking this. UTV use is out of control all over the riding areas for sure.….i fear this sxs will be what helps cause the closure of moab or the rubicon

I picked up a 4 seat chenowth around tday. I’ve had multiple opportunities to pick up mid travel setups and other things for it and have shocked myself with my restraint. My kids and i have a blast in it just the way it is. I am swapping out the seats for new suspensions seat and will probably finish paneling it and put in a windshield; but for the dozen trips i make a season max; its not worth it to me to have a 60k or even 30k sand/desert car.The price of fun has never been cheap, unless you home build something.
There is a Swing Axle Mid-Engine Beam Sand Rail on FB for $2k....it's pretty tempting to have a dedicated Sand Rail and go dune it all day long in the smooth sand...and so cheap you can get rid of it later for about the same.
Certainly added more people to the riding areas. Shows how popular they are and why Polaris and the rest keep expanding the product lines.Yore not wrong in thinking this. UTV use is out of control all over the riding areas for sure.
Don’t forget pulling the jets every ride, valve adjustment every weekend, and a myriad of other things that come with ACVWs… :biggrin:The price of fun has never been cheap, unless you home build something.

Just returned from Moab, My side by sides are street plated in Ut. and I still was a tad uncomfortable. There is a funk in the air around that town, they are tired of uncorked side by sides and people ripping around town. I don't think this model will effect riding areas as much as inconsiderate use in and around town does. There are cops everywhere in the mornings enforcing the super low UTV speed limits. Utah just started requiring a UTV test to drive in the state, basically a common courtesy and tread lightly reminder. Where I live the Ranger xp Northstar edition with a HCR long travel kit is super popular, this is not that much different. Add a long travel kit to this rig an you will be in Jeep Rubicon price territory for sure...….i fear this sxs will be what helps cause the closure of moab or the rubicon
