Never Registered OHV

Agree with some here if it has a title it has been registered at one point.Guy probably never transferred to his name but as long as its signed off i wouldnt sweat it.Will be back fees though.

Now with an mso its just proof of ownership in a way but never in the dmv system that might be a little more work especially in ca.

First of all, yore too old for that bike!!!!
call a registration service and ask them with specifics.
the info your getting here is all over the map.
I don’t recall the year, but didn’t CA stop issuing titles for certain bikes or track only bikes?

Great advice in here, guy was ZERO interested in giving me any VIN info before I drove to Tehachapi to see it in person.

CRF250X and CRF450X still on the hunt for a decent deal for 1st time riders....not perfect, but also not clapped out POS like some stuff out there...

For what it's worth, we just got my '82 70 all paperwork up'd.  Had no documentation, not in any system.

Got pink and registered through a DMV service.

Original owner registered it, hence the Pink.  Second owner has had it since 2017 and never registered it?  There will be back registration due.  Go to Sonora Smog CHeck in Fontana.  They are a DMV servce as well and have helped me register serveral out of state and new vehicles and trailers with just an MSO.  It's way cheaper than you would think and no lines like DMV.  AAA won't be able to help.
This. Happened to me. Bought a CFR250 that had a Pink Slip and never registered. Still had to pay the back registration for about 3 or 4 years. Plus sales tax.
