Need prefab metal shed

I used United Carports out of Riverside to build me a 45'x20' RV garage about 5 years ago.  They turn keyed including permit and slab.  Did a nice job.

You're in Orange County.  You will absolutely need a permit:

Even if it's under 120', looks like you still need a permit, just less stringent per above.
Wrong Orange County Einstein!  :classic_laugh:

Permit is required by CBC for any shed over 120 sq ft. Up to you if you want to get one or not but like said, lots of ways to get caught. We go in on complaints all the time. Usually it's the neighbors. You could also have an inspector that frequents the area and sees it going up or sees it after it's up and knows he didn't inspect it. Where I'm at (I am a city building inspector) we typically only respond to complaints and do not go out "looking for trouble".

Goddammit. The OC CA site’s FAQ blows, went to the next link. Fail.

Better than a vertically challenged body.

Only takes one snitch and your screwed. They will red tag that sucker..

In California every city/county has its different regs. I know in LA they actually have three different building codes for the three geographical areas LA has.. some allow up to 500 ft² and no more than 12 ft tall some only allow 120 ft² and seven and a half feet tall. It's going to be way easy with the prefab building to get the permit.
