Need help with front lower shock mounts!

Maybe use 3/16th plate on the bottom. Gusset off the tube to the plate.
Yea, my base plate is definitely 3/16 no doubt.

Just take it to a local fab shop.

With your concerns about tab thickness, plus the arms being butchered
I'm just a stubborn DIY'er. If I can't get it right, I will. Appreciate the suggestion.

Not sure I got any other choice. I'll try and land the tab over the tube as much as possible. I will obviously throw some weld on the underside of the plate. Hope it lands where it needs to go 😆
Then run two vertical pieces of plate across the arms as “canoe” mount. If the heim doesn’t have enough misalignment, run tabs across the canoe to turn them perpendicular to the chassis.

Make sure the walls of the canoe are in line with the shock.

I've brain stormed the "canoe" style cradle but can't seem to visualize it. The V of the lower tubes make it difficult. I'll give it more thought.
