I don't know about you folks, but I enjoy getting new tools.  Not just getting the tool, but doing the research about them, finding their strengths and weaknesses.   It reduces the chance of me doing an impulse buy, and hating my decision.

Some of you know the reason behind this one....

So....  show your newest tool score, and if there was any key information you found that helped you to it.

I went away from Dewalt a year or so ago after burning up yet another drill.  The Milwaukee stuff I've bought has been SOLID.  This pole saw got great reviews and takes the same battery that new blower does.  I did a couple of little spots to see how it worked, and so far so good.  I will know for sure this weekend.

Here is the previous buy.  It got good reviews but not great.  The guys trying to blow a whole yard with of leaves down a driveway said it's not got enough air.  IMO that the job for a gas powered tool...  for cleaning out the garage, blowing out  the trailer and getting the sand out of thw buggy.... it works great.

I thought about getting a second one and using them as a JATO.  LOL.

I used a multi tool for cutting the dash in my boat yesterday. Great for tight places and odd angles!

The one I used yesterday was a plug in but since I have the Milwaukee cordless tools also I'll be getting one of these

I have a Milwaukee blower too but it eats the battery up fast

Get the 6.0 or 8.0 battery.... will last longer

The blower and the pole saw both come with the 8.0 battery and the higher amperage "quick charger".  I have not run the blower out of battery yet, but my front driveway is pretty small.

I made the same switch from dewalt to Milwaukee and I’m very happy. I have that blower and it works great. I have their big impacts, 3 different sizes and they work as well as the pneumatic impacts I used before.

nice psd by the way 😉

Im running milwaukee everything and loving them. I have the same tool head you have for the pole saw but with the weed wacker. I love it. No more rebuilding carbs or fuel tanks. It rips through tough east county brush. It eats  up batteries too  but i have 4 9ah batteries and rotate them out. I do my yard and 3 elderly neigbors 3-4 times a year with it

I have the same blower for the trailer and love it.  Makes quick work of cleaning the dunes out of the trailer

The hedge trimmer kicks ass too, even the one that attaches to the pole works well.  I use the pole one to trim the oaks for my toyhauler to fit under on my driveway.

look up jdtco (jerseydiscounttool.com) he has an app, website, facebook, youtube channel and on and on.

i have bought 2-3/8" impacts and 1-1/2" impact from him, really haven't a better price yet, stupid fast shipping.

look up his youtube channel jdtcotv, he's a crack up, but straight shooter and has great deals.

Can't go wrong with red. My wife always complains that she can't figure out what to get me for birthdays, christmas, etc. When I tell her a blonde half her age would be a good gift, it doesn't go over well so I told her go the tool isle at Home Depot and get anything Milwaukee so she does. I have just about all or their tools now. Some only get used a couple of times a year, others get used weekly and I have no complaints with any of them.

Makita here, but wish I went red.

Stupid powerful

I have a brush hog, but this is great for hillsides. Like @Sausage450r says: no more worry about starting and plenty of power.

And the next purchase:

I have a Viair for the Jeep, but a couple guys in camp have these and it’s the ultimate in convenience to air up a buggy tire real quick.

Now that I own my home, I’ve got a lot of yard to take care of. I bought these beauties to help. They are actually quite fun towing behind the trx200sx!

From the "not because I wanted too" file.  Our kitchen is on the back of our house and there is a 2" pipe that  runs to the front of the house to meet up with the main.  There is a little dip in this that creates a backup if we are not diligent with keeping crap out of the sink.

I know all of thw 5W's so I did some research and this guy is a decent machine for light jobs, so I went for it.  Yes it's a China freight, POS, but for the cost/value/quality it's an effective option.

I ran it out until it was about 30' out and sure enough it hit the gunk and broke it up.  Out and in a few times, agove the hose down @ wide open and it was good to go.

Nothing like the planning on the location of the sprinkler manifold/cleanout right???  LOL

Just picked this up tonight after wanting one for a year or so but never doing it because i already have 2 bandsaws and 2 portabands. Im doing alot of alumn  sheet work for a local race team that includes cutting out intricate cuts in .250 6061 sheet. This thing rips! Love it instantly!
