Dunes were spectacular, Gecko was over ran with no-see-ums. Feet are tore the eff up.  

Weather wasn't to bad during the day but the nights didn't cool off as much as usual and what little breeze there was did not approach from a direction that did my trailer any good. So it was hot and stale during the evening. Even Saturday night as we saw the big storm approach it cooled off some but when the storm fizzeled out it was just muggy.  We all covered our cars thinking it would rain so that took the rain out of the forecast.

Overall great first trip had 10 cars on the opening run.

Well the weather at home was frightful

But in the dunes it's always delightful

We will be in 13, but plan on visiting the main group in the flats as well as raiding a guy from the lone star states cooler in the double deuce
