More Topics for Sand Cars

That would be awesome.   Topics????

Cool idea.  :dude:

I'd like to see more of your motor threads. I'd like to see a comparison of what a guys options are for what he could do at home with a junk yard pull or used engine for X dollars and get roughly Y horsepower compared to just spending X dollars with an engine builder. Not looking for any trade secrets just looking for good ideas and how much I could save or waste doing it myself.

It kind of Risk over Reward,  for me everytime i try to save the customer a little bit of money, something breaks and we are both staring at each other, what do to now, as simple as a lifter or not changing a valve, and as high end as a connecting rod,  so anymore the only stock rod builds is for local shops that are a 100% with a 60K mile warranty,  or maybe a street car with a small tire,

Anything that hits the dirt I like to put a non cast rod, They do a make a good upgraded rod for cheap, and then rebalance the crank for the correct BOB weight,

Quick HP,  Camshaft,  and springs,  you can run up to a .600 lift with any stock motor,  and add a good head Like a Small bore LS3/7 then you can get close to 600hp on a ls3 and the Torque will stay close to the same,
