My wife & I used to camp just like this at Glamis. We would pull up on our own rise near the canal. My fat-tired Chevy Blazer could pull our t-trailered buggy into some pretty soft areas. I was always paranoid about a drunk running over our tent in the middle of the night, so we we set it up between the trailer and the Blazer. Then we could tie off the tent to the trailer to keep it from blowing over. Haha. circa early 90s.

Thanks for the pics, you capture our group kicking it at Olds. Sand was amazing this past weekend, was there Wed-Monday, great weather. A bit cold at night, did burn thru some Propane.

Amazing what two weeks can do, Xmas-NYE was packed and the dunes were tore up, fast forward this past weekend, crowds were light, the dunes were smooth and fast, felt like an off weekend for sure.

I just got there and he was going up and down. Grabbed the camera and they parked it up top.
