Caribbean is much prettier and the water is nicer.   I am sure the next cruise we do will be the Caribbean.

Do the Med and Adriatic, water is better the history is amazing the views are spectacular. Do a  10 day trip out of Barcelona or Venice and you will never go back to the Caribbean

Are you stopping in Ketchikan? What day? I’m heading back up there the 29th. Happy to make suggestions/recommendations. I’m there all the time and used to live there. Could even be talked in to taking you out to try to find a fish or two or see some whales if by chance the days lined up right.

FIL wants to do a fishing trip in Ketchikan.  Any suggestions/tips for first timers?

Lots of options, depends on what he wants. Full service guided, self-guided, stay on boat, bare boat rental, day use charter, etc, etc. Narrow it down some and get you some recommendations.
