Maverick R in desert race trim

S3 Motorsports (Dustin "Battle Axe" Jones) and Phil Blurton are racing their Maverick R's at the BITD Silver State 300 this weekend.   The both put together some nice looking desert racers.  Both are using stock suspension components with some gussets welded on.  

Have to say having the upper arm and tall knuckle black makes it look a lot better.

Yep as do most aftermarket cages.

They should do well.  There are only 43 entries for the race.  BITD has been a mess this year.

A little inside info from last weekends WORCS races. The cars were jumping out of 4 wheel drive on their own unexpectedly. Mainly coming into corners hot. In cam footage showed it dropping out of 4 wheel into 2 wheel on the dash. Hope this got fixed at the speeds they will be running!

There were Maverick R’s racing at WORCS?   I thought only S3 and Blurton were the only racers to have the Maverick R
