Make America great again... what decade?

Can you really say one decade was all good? I don't think so.
Just like Dune trips, Sure some of the best were when things were simple just a truck, tent, cooler and a bike. Were they really better? or just simpler?
84-93 sure was my sweet spot for having fun living on $100/ week would I want to do that again, hell NO.

$20 Lap Dances, but when you got the whole song, not a 50 second clip.

"Pour Some Sugar on Me" for my full 5 mins please.

Yep 2:30 seconds in and the DJ started telling you to tip the dancers and that Mercedes was coming to the main stage or our favorite, 2 for 1 draft beers.

The 90's for sure. I've thought about this several times in the past.

90s - Windows 98, craigslist, pagers, basic cell phones, Cycle trader still around, Napster, chat rooms - just enough technology to make life a bit easier yet still some old school paper for those secret finds...man I loved looking in the cycle trader adds.
Plus - music was great...all types, rap, country, metal, grunge, etc...no one seemed to be racist or even talk about it. The world was heading in the right direction, or at least it seemed that way to me.

The more I read this thread, the more convinced I am that the 70' ruled.

Great cars. Great music. No home based computers to speak of. No cell phones. Pagers really weren't even a thing yet!

Cruising Was still a thing, and there were very few emissions controls on vehicles.

Gas was so cheap, it was the last expensive you would think of going to the river. 18ft flats were the rule at the river and Sundance was still in full swing, and The drinking age was still 18 in AZ. Ski Naked, was not a saying, it was a rule.

It was Definitely a good time to be alive. 👍🏼👍🏼

I graduated in 75. This was my high school/cruising Saturday night car...
