Ls Swap Sand Limo

Bought this sand car a year ago and time for some upgrades. Car originally had a SC Eco Tec 2.0 in it that got hurt at the end of last season. I sold that whole motor setup and just picked up an LS6. LS is all torn down now and at the shop getting cleaned up. Motor came with Intake but no drive accessories / sensors. Anyone have an "old" water pump/ power steering pump/ tensioner etc sitting around and want to clear up some space?

Im also in need of a clutch, flywheel, and headers

Where are you located? I have some of that stuff laying around i pulled off a motor i bought from a member here. Im in Norco, Ca. If you are local enough for it to be worth it. 
i have: waterpump, harmonic balancer/crank pulley, tensioner, alt bracket with idler and i think a p/s bracket.

Where are you located?  I have a set of headers that are coming off my car this weekend and a KRC P/S Pump with attached resi I am replacing. 

Edit - I also have a set of OEM spark plug wires you can have if you want them.

I was going to say the same, if you can  use a polymer intake it will keep the Air Temps down,  Air Temps can be loss of power or worse detonation.

Picked up a set of Headers and got the Engine back from machine shop. Ready for the kitchen rebuild!

What fly wheel / clutch setup do I want? Will be paired up to my 2D transmission.

What is the difference in stage 1-2-3 clutch? Plus minus of one over another?

My old ecotec had a stage 3 clutch and was very hard to push the pedal

I was under the assumption the intake could simply be unbolted and turned 180? Have a recommendation for a reasonable priced replacement?

Yes the intake can be swapped 180, then typically the throttle bracket bolts to the back of the head 

Great intake without breaking the bank is the LS3 intake with the Cathedral adapters,

With These adapters you will need a 6mm x 130mm same as the oil pan , 10 each,  or reach out to us we can get some out,

Oil pump to use, 

• If you need a red spring let us know we have over 100 for the pump  oil pump get a M365,  Timing Chain GM, is fine,   
  
• Valve springs get weaker over time, this will be a great spring Chevrolet Performance 19420455 Chevrolet Performance Valve Springs | Summit Racing
  
• I prefer ACL bearings, they will run   .0005 looser than a Mahle, so you should not have to dial bore them, that is a good replacement bearing  we should have them on the shelf or can get them in a couple of days, 
  
• LS Valve Spring tool Proform Parts 67605 Proform Valve Spring Compressors | Summit Racing
  
• ONLY use Gm Original Equipment lifter guides, or you can spin a lifter
  
• also we pull out the clips on the lifters and put in a lifter possi lock instead of the clip for $80 this will help the lifter from possibly coming apart, 
  
• Cheap trunnions might come apart, i have never had a Comp Trunion kit fail we sell them for $150 or you can get them from summit racing COMP Cams 13702-KIT COMP Cams Retrofit Trunnion Kits for GM LS Series | Summit Racing  I ONLY use the CHE or the COMP, all other failed for me, the BTR also has not failed on me,  
  
• Use GM Original Equipment rear and main seal, not worth having to pull the motor for a rear seal, 
  
• Also USE GM Head gaskets Chevrolet Performance 12498544 Chevrolet Performance LS1/LS6 Cylinder Head Gasket Kits | Summit Racing
  
• Our stainless Steel Header Studs are $30 that make is super easy to hang the header and line up the gaskets, 
  
• You do not need them but i hate torque to yield, so the ARP rod bolts save time to install, and help hold the bearing in place,  
  
• And Last Mahle Assemble Lube or Royal Purple are my go to,

Stock intake can be used, flipped around.  No worries there.
