To be fair, even the higher-end stuff have new coach/trailer teething problems. My '17 Dutch Star was brand new, and had things that needed fixed. My '19 Mountain Aire I bought used, but had records that the first owner took it back to Indiana for fixes. That's just how it is, and I'm okay with that as long as a) they actually can/do fix the problems b) the "foundation" itself is solid (which is def the case with Newmar).I agree with everything said above. I'm going to end up having a Renegade built.
There is nothing I detest more than buying something "new" that immediately requires repairs. I'd rather pay more for something that I know is solid and reliable from the get-go. This is the reason I know longer own RR, MB, BMW, Jaguar, etc. As I've "grown" older, I realize that peace (Cheff-style) of mind trumps a "deal".
