Let's talk GPS

For the buggy, in the Dunes, you just need markers for bearings relative to where you are: how many sets to China Wall, giant bowl, or breadcrumbs for a good run type thing.  The newer ones with graphic interfaces and digital picture maps are great for trail riding, but in Glamis, best to just know what direction and about how far, so I don't think it's worth a single cent to "upgrade" from your current dealio.

 
I have the Baja540C and I only use it to estimate direction or distance. I dont lead so alot of times from one location Ill turn it on and point and the group heads off... lol.

If your not going to use all the new fancy features do you need to upgrade?!
