Who has what? Totally new to the hole  E-bike thing.  I’m looking for more of a cruise, little dirt, little pavement and mostly camp  ground.

We have two Pedego's and love them. Good product and customer support. Found her Boomerang used with 19 miles on it. Like new. Saved about $1300. Bought mine new. Base battery on mine which is plenty good enough for long rides since I am pedaling all the time and not using just throttle. Having pedal assist (5 speeds) plus I believe 7 geared speeds lets you darn near do anything. Awesome to accelerate up hills. Ours are cruisers. Any type of suspension will cost you more. I believe Pedego sells more E bikes than anyone.

It don’t have peddles but I have been wanting to get a SurRon since watch this kid on YouTube last year

My brother is a manager for the Pedego manufacturer. I honestly don't know anything about them. He says Pedego is one of the top brands.

Let me know if you want more info.

i have a Haibike bought the x duro version  was $5400  i use it twice a week, had it for maybe 3 years now, at least 10 miles a trip. good 1 hour exercise.  i think my model has 100mm travel (mid travel)  i use it on mostly bridle trails but do some serious off road now and then.

love it

Started mountain biking during Covid like many did. Figured if I beat covid it would be through health. Well it was a quick transition from riding dirtbikes as well. Pedaling sucked the life out of me though lol so it wasn't long before the crew all went E-Bikes. One test ride of my buddies bike and I was sold! It was exactly what I needed. My "analog" bike was a 2018 Specialized Stumpjumper and it was a beast. So I wanted the same feel and went with a Specialized Turbo Levo Comp and although a little higher in price range than some out there comparable, I'm in love with her. Yes, I've taken it off some sweet jumps. It's just anyone's guess if I'll land upright LOL

Here she is after a good cleaning and heading to bike fest at sky park last last weekend.

Check out the Specialized Vado bikes. All prices and levels. Some nice bikes!

One of the guys at work has a Zooz and it was pretty rad. Looked like a classic BMX 24” cruiser but would haul ass when using the E-drive. Hydraulic disc brakes made for quick stops. If I was wanting a cruise around bike this would be my choice.

The most fun I have ever had on two wheels in on an E mountain bike. Not everyones cup of tea and not the kind of bike I would look at if I just wanted a cruiser, but man they are so much fun.

That being said - my brother in law has a couple of the Super 73 bikes that are really fun. Fast (31mph) and look cooler than any other ebike in my opinion. Father in law just got a couple of Murf bikes (local SoCal company I think) that are more beach cruiser looking, which I dont love, but they are cool for what they are as well. Each have about 4" tires, which helps smooth things out.

I just bought a Zebra at an auction for $150 for the heck of it. Its super lame, but makes trips to the hardware store from the shop somewhat fun. Dont get one of those haha

I have the Turbo Levo Comp (2022), 2 carbon Trance- Es (2022), and a Haibike (5-6 years old). I bought them more for the family so they can ride with me on my regular mountain bike and gravel bike. My daughter rode one of the trances yesterday with us and after 25mi and about 3k' it still had 60% batt left. I prefer the specialized and its app features but they are changing to a direct to consumer model and I'm not a fan of that. If you can find one a YT is good a good bang for the buck.

I've been cycling for over a decade and have been fighting the urge to get one.  Here's  the Lemond I've been eying for a while:

I like it because it  still looks like a "real" bike and is light compared to most other offerings.  Or maybe just say eff it, buy a SurRon  and go urban motoing . . .

I bought two Sondors e bikes April 2020 for $999.00 each.  Today they’re $2,400.00 each!

I have 650 miles on one and 850 on the other. Just had them worked on.. new tires and brakes.. charged up.. great weather for them. Plus my house backs to the Aliso Viejo bike trail.

They’re a blast!.. for someone who stares at a computer all day, it’s a great mental break to just hop on and tool around.

That is what I like about the Specialized Tubo Vado Si 5 Looks unlike a bulky e bike.

I got a Giant Trance E full suspension mountain bike in 2019. Ride it a couple of times a week at Whiting Ranch and other areas in OC.
At my age it makes mountain biking fun again.

Rode my buddy's Specialized up at Big Bear for fun.  Hopped on, pedaled away with the assist, and kept upshifting...

Before I knew it, I was going death speeds without any protective gear (just board shorts/flippy-floppies) through legit single track terrain. Got on the brakes (also great), turned around and gave it right back.  Those things are amazing.

They are also one of the most stolen pieces of property out there... Keep serial numbers and pictures.... use a GOOD lock and watch them at ALL times... friends had two taken with a GOOD lock from  under their 5th wheel at Dockweiler.....while they were sleeping...

It's a bug that will bite you.  I have always had bikes, but once I rode an E-bike,  normal pedal bikes will never be the same. I got a Fantic Ebike years ago, and have since moved up to "Bulls" E- mountain bikes.  My family has 3 of them. Extremely well made and very capable bikes.  Each have about 150mm of travel and have the Brose emag motors (90lbs trq.) and big 750  batteries. We also have a fat tire HOL (house of lithium) bike for my youngest (he doesn't ride as much). I also have a Surron X and a Segway X-260 that me and my oldest son take on our local fire trails.  These are more electric motorcycles though.  It's a pretty sizable investment,  but it gets my family out of the house on all sorts of outdoor trails. It helps that we have riding trails right out our back door,  but I would still find new places to ride if that were not the case. You wont regret it. Just do your research and get what works for you.
