This reminds me of a story...

About 15 yrs ago, I met a couple who were new to off-roading, Glamis, all of it. We were driving along in his Dodge truck in a sandy wash and it was miles and miles of high frequency chatter bumps, rattling our teeth out at any speed. The guy's wife was sitting in the middle, holding her b00bs, in pain. I told him that if we stopped, deflated his tires from 65 psi down to 25 or 20 psi, the ride would be a lot better.

He refused. A couple of miles later, I suggested it again. He refused again. About a mile later, his wife screamed at him, "PULL OVER NOW!!!" He grudgingly pulled over and we dropped the tires to 20 psi. As we took off again, the ride was fwy smooth, the tires soaked it all up. I was really curious why he wouldn't take any advice from someone who knew what he was talking about. I asked him, and he didn't answer.

But his wife did, She said, "Because he's a stubborn focking jackass!!"
