Being a padre fan I hate them but damn paying somebody 70mil a year is Cray Cray cuz they will still go out in the first round of the playoffs :oll:

cliff notes, dude was very good at both pitching (throwing a baseball to somebody who try's to hit it) and a hitter (somebody who hits a ball a pitcher throws) last year he hurt his arm pitching, still can hit but going forward his pitching might not be as good as it was for that kind of cash.

 
Dodgers just got better in a big way.   Too bad Trout won't leave the Angeles and give himself a shot to make the playoffs or win a World Series.

I live in CO.   Not really my team, but I can't get away from them.

.364 win percentage this last year.

For my team, I'm still waiting for the final run count for the last WS to see how we did.  ;  )

funny  a padre fan talk about another team going out the first round when they RARELY even make the playoffs (7times in team history). what was the padres payroll last year? where were they when october rolled around?

 
I'm happy he went to the NL West, We will not see another player like this in our lifetime.  LA has deferred a lot of this contract just like Mookie and Freeman so it should not cripple the annual spending on payroll.  Who knows, they might actually win a playoff game next year !

still makes me laugh, cant get in but still trying to talk trash, last season was a joy to watch after all the talking SD players and fans did. coudnt make the playoffs. barley got above 500 and finished 18 games back in the division. with a payroll so big they had to take out a 50mil loan to finish the season. 

angel fans have been trying to say similar stuff which is even funnier considering their performance.

Nothing funnier than watching LA in CHOKETOBER.  Sounds like you are still bitter about getting bounced by the Madres, then swept by AZ,  Then LA fans whine that SD is buying a team, LMAO!!!!  Ohtani contract is a 20 year deal, 2mill a yr for first 10 yrs, then 68 MIL a yr for another 10yrs!  Not sure how that will work out
