Kawasaki released the Teryx 4 H2 today! 250HP

The H2 looks really good, but this is a big issue. There is no lower support on the A pillar connection. It’s just floating. If you roll this car and if you take any load to the A pillar you going to bend the chassis. IMO this is a huge design flaw and not sure why they allowed this?

And why is the A pillar connector & tube at different angles? I’d prefer to stand up the A pillar as all these UTV’s lay back the A pillar to much. Look at the Speed and how much more upright the A pillar is. Even without the A+ tube the Speed is much stronger in that area. This needs to be addressed.

Is it possible that there's a piece that comes with the body kit that bolts in that area? Maybe part of the body is structural? I can't seem to find a good picture to peek up underneath there, one of them that I did see looks like something was crossing over in that area. Maybe that along with thicker wall tubing in that area? Who knows, but common sense tells us that it was safety tested. There has to be a logical explanation. Has that guy that did the custom cage piped in about it yet?

I’m hoping there’s something there. I guess we will find out later this month when released to dealers and hopefully they will have a cut way car and engineers at the Sand Show to see & talk too.

Looks like these two come together at the shock tower mount?

There’s also a pair of bars going down to the front diff support sorta in line. Definitely not optimal though.

Won’t matter anyway: no way the bend in the A pillar outlasts the 3-4 tubes supporting the wonky connector. Any aftermarket cage would be best if it had an “FIA bar” supporting that bend to the bottom rail near your feet.
