For years, no one in government even bothered defending USAID. They assumed no one was paying attention to the nonsense we’ve been unknowingly funding. But now, suddenly, Democrats are scrambling. USAID’s website mysteriously went offline, its employees were locked out of the building, and Trump and Elon Musk are reportedly moving to shut it down. And the Left’s reaction tells you everything. Ilhan Omar is shrieking about dictatorship, Jamie Raskin is claiming Trump and Musk are “impounding” taxpayer money—because apparently, not wasting it on foreign governments is now theft. And Chuck Schumer is warning that the IRS could be next, as if that’s supposed to scare anyone.
Their hysteria says it all. They’re not afraid of dictatorship. They’re afraid of losing their money pipeline. USAID has been one of Washington’s favorite tools for funneling taxpayer dollars into propaganda, pet projects, and backdoor regime change. Now, for the first time in decades, they’re being forced to answer for it. And that’s what really has them scared.
