There are 7.4M (w/an M) people that they have files on....that have been caught and released, on bond, or otherwise....or so I've heard.

Not sure what those #'s are supposed to represent, but they are low.

The Border Patrol, since the IRCA (the last amnesty law) has apprehended over 1M a year, every year, some years quite a bit over that. Eventually, they all get away.... Around 1995-1998, electronic fingerprints came along, that slowed down (IMHO) folks returning to Mexico for the holidays. How many of those brought their families up here?
