Obviously, no one here has ever witnessed the horror of visiting a Velour farm. The innocent little velours are bred in small cages and slaughtered at their prime - just for their fur!
My cousin runs a Velour Rescue Center in California where many velours now run free. For most of them, it's the first time they've ever felt the grass under their tiny little feet.
Thankfully, due to the public outcry against the brutal slaughter of these beautiful velours, Chrysler, Cadillac, Buick, and Oldsmobile began using leather in an effort to stop the carnage. Sadly, many classic car lovers are starting to restore cars from the 80's and demand has begun to increase. Only you can stop this. Demand alternative seat fabrics like leather, lambskin, blue whale hide, or spotted owl skin.
Be a hero and sponsor a rescue. Inform others. Save the Velours, before it's too late...
