Its Tuesday JULY 4TH 2023!!! What is everyone up too?

Did 'Smash Tacos' for the first time.  Holy crap, they're so good and so easy.  Wife is half buzzed and tried talking shet but this will be a very common dinner or party menu from now on!

Ground Beef but only one side gets cooked because the tortilla gets smashed on it?

Using turkey, but prep method applies I assume:

Smash Turkey: Heat your griddle, Blackstone, or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat and spray with oil when hot. Working in batches, put the turkey balls on the pan, leaving enough room so they won’t touch when they’re pressed down. Smash the meat as thinly as possible with a round burger press, a large spatula with a mallet on top, or a small saucepan. Cook until the bottoms brown.

Tortilla and Cheese: Flip the turkey, and top each patty with two tablespoons of cheese and a tortilla. Press down on the tortilla, and cook for two minutes until the bottom of the turkey browns and the cheese melts. Flip and cook for another minute to char the tortillas. Transfer the tacos to a plate, meat side up.

Every year I get to fly on the 4th and see the carnage happening on the ground.

Rockwood nailed it, albeit wordy.  Burger is thin enough it's cooked well with just the one side down.  But you do flip with the tortilla to crisp up more.

I hate food fads but these were really good and simple.

We spent the week with the Robert and Sylvia at the Dream Home. What a great time! Peace

Sunburn body and possible broken ribs. HA. Slippery when wet. Peace
