I got to cut Christmas dinner short and jump in our truck with my son and go to the airport, in San Diego. Left at 6:45 last night and got back home at 7:10 am. Airport closed, no flights in or out and daughter in law and 2 grandsons told it would be Wednesday before they could get a flight out. The stop was supposed to just a 3hr layover. Best laid plans!

The best gift was monster jam tickets with my youngest son.

A new digital klien multimeter, some tee shirts, and a real cool key chain my 7 year old grandson made for me.

The best part is three families, or ten people, 4 dogs, three cats and a yard full of chickens.

Its total chaos for 5 days and I loved every minute of it.

Christmas eve, 11 hour cook on a brisket & fixins for the wife's 1/2 of the family, Christmas day dinner for my 1/2 was a flank steak roulade & roasted potatoes all on the BGE.

Love cooking for the fam!

I got a meat grinder, time to make my own sausage & burgers! Few good shirts - wife wants a new look for her arm charm. Cool hunting log book from my Son & DIL

Got an RTIC 52 qt cooler. This is my first higher end cooler.  I have high expectations.  My boy is going to borrow it for his dune trip this week... go figure.

Ignore the goofy ass holding it but my wife nailed it this year. Hidden gun case made from recycled whiskey barrels. 
 

It’s heavy as hell so mounting it to the wall should be fun.

Update, Southwest informed them yesterday that they could fly out Thursday. That was a last Sunday, Christmas day ticket. Looks like SWA is having a bad holiday week.
