Yes Its Thanksgiving 2022 so what are Y'all doing today??

For me its chores around the House and clean up stuff etc etc so just like any other day.. I got to work on Friday so NOT going anywhere.

I am Truly Thankful today and everyday for this Board and the People on Here Y'all are a True Blessing

wife has had influenza a all week, since last friday, diverted kids to grandmas so they can celebrate with them.

doing laundry, clean garage and prob go to storage and unhook my 5th wheel finally

Doing Thanksgiving at my SIL house, so prepping our half of the meal to take over there.  Pick up our moms and get them to dinner...

Going to work on the tractor this weekend.  U&L coolant hoses, T-stat, cap, coolant, clean up around the side of the motor to see if I can't figure out where the leak is (I think it's where  the hose meets the block).

Finish up some small things for the next glamis trip.

Thanks to everyone here who makes this such a great community!!

Wednesday - Took my 88 year old Mother-In-Law who lives at the old folks home 3 miles away to BRU (nice restaurant) for dinner last night with the wife and 16 year old.

Thursday - Out to see my Step-Dad and Mom with the wife and 16 year old for traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. They're not real mobile and have 2 'unwell' dogs (cancer, broken leg) so they can't leave home.

Friday - Big family get-together in H.B. (probably 18 of us)... with my Dad, Step-Mom, my Sister, Brother-In-Law and her 4 kids,.. I think all 4 of my kids and their significant others too.

Saturday - Laguna Hills, 12-1, 2022 CIF Southern Section Football Playoff vs. 9-4 Golden Valley, I think in Santa Clarita. My daughter is a cheerleader. All 3 of my girls cheered for Laguna Hills and they've never gone this far and I've been going to watch the girls cheer for the last 15 years (my oldest is 30). It's been a really exciting run. One of our Glamis friends son is a top defensive player. He's a Jr. like my daughter.

Sunday - Watching my niece (10?) ballet Nut Cracker in the day, Azuza I think, then going with Dad, Wife and Step-Mom to the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano to watch Chest Fever - The Band Revival.

After 6 days in G, will be great to see family. Not thrilled about the amount of driving we'll be doing so plan to let the wife (or my permitted 16 year old) drive at least 1/2 the time.

Very Thankful/Blessed!

Ditching family for the first time ever and doing Thanksgiving with friends in Campo.  My mom's not happy.

We were gonna shoot some guns first but wind and smoke time have kaiboshed that.

1 smoked & 1 BBQd turkey happening...

Watching the wife prep some goodies to take across the street to Moms house. We're doing Thanksgiving with Mom this year at her house. Dream Home isn't complete so we're hanging low until we can entertain there. Having a Bloody Mary / Shot of Casamigos Tequila preparing for some couch time later today. Extremely Thankful for Y'ALL!! GD.com family is awesome. Have a great weekend.

ABC......do you make your family wear those shirts on the Holidays? HAHA! Peace

A friend of mine is in AbuDabi getting ready to race a marathon. Race or Run? He's going on a Dune and Camel Ride. Wonder what they drive over there on their tours? Peace

I should.. but I left a box with about 40 of them in my TH in Glamis. Killed the group photo as our group was smaller than last years group shot.

It’s kinda my ‘thing’ now. Maybe I should run down the drags and shoot them out the SXS with a shirt gun.. start a cult..

I spent almost 20 years straight in G for thanksgiving.  One year I was by my self because my sand fix was more important to me.

My family got over it....LOL

Back in the day we use to go to my mom's house for Thanksgiving but we would have her fix it on Wednesday so we could go to the dunes on Thanksgiving. DON~~~

Never do squat. Making smash burgers later. Maybe chop one up and make a taco since i have corn tortillas and some awesome chipotle aioli to use up.

Modern traditions are like pop music. People are told what music to follow and what clothes to wear. To me making a turkey on the 24th is like wearing skinny jeans. No originality in thoughts or execution of living. Society in the USA says you eat turkey today and people follow right along.

Seems less special when you meet up with family on the pop music day.

Just finished Thanksgiving Turkey dinner in wash 22 with family and friends.
Getting ready for some pie and football soon.
