Productive day.
Finished up the last bit of fine tuning on the QA1 install for my C10 and took a test run up to old Julian highway. Pretty stoked on the difference, but still need to play with the coil over adjustments.
Added some rock lights to the buggy so the engine area lights up at night, cleaned the air filter, changed the oil, and started cleaning it. Plan to be done with desert prep tomorrow.
At 11 we decided to take the boat out on the lake for a few hours and just got back...only spent 3ish ours on the water, but it was a nice break from a long week...I thought the season was over, but 95 in east county means head to the lake if you can.
. It started at 8:00 AM, so we decided to get there around 7:45. Ha! We had to park at the mall next door and wait in a line that was about a 1/3 mile long (seriously, I measured it). So needless to say, thousands of people went in before us. We picked up a nice set of Alpinestars boots for her since she's riding the Z400 now and thinks jumping is fun. Looked for riding gear for her, but it was mostly ugly stuff on clearance. The line for the cashier to check out took 90 minutes. I'm not sure any of it was worth the effort, but it was something to do I guess.
