Its Saturday Oct 7th 2023... What is everyone up too this weekend?

Smoking a small turkey and shopping for the base vehicle for a small adventure van.  Wife thinks I need a 6th car..?..  WTF?

And...yes, love.  I will buy another car....LOL

The GM52 is ready to load into the trailer.  Picked up some rear tires for the rollers.  Had to install a new rear taillight bar. The Baja designs one stopped working on the left side.  Got the replacement in the mail and will be sending back the bad one for repairs.  Under warranty.  Found the drivers rear caliper leaking brake fluid.  Not noticeable using the brake pedal but dripped like mad when the turning brake was applied.  Had grey area send me a new piston and seal kit but that wasn't it.  After fixing the weeping piston and installing, we found it still leaked.  So off again and took it all the way apart.  The two halves of the caliper have small o rings to send fluid to the other side.  One of these was pinched.  I just happened to have a good oring kit and had the right one.  Back on and now good to go.

Couple of hot laps to get me excited and get the neighbors out of their homes!!!

Weird leaking with turn brakes and not so much with pedal. Glad you found it.

Yeah, it wasn't obvious. Just sand build up so i assumed a leak. Took them off and saw a sand pattern dripping away from one of the 6 pistons.  Figured great, thats why they sent me a piston and an oring.  Fixed that. Bled the brakes and all looked good.  I had my helper lean on the turning brakes and walla. Drip drip drip.  So off it came again.

4mile jog this morning in the dark. Going to my buddies house to grab all his firewood, for free. He is selling his house in fallbrook cause he cant stand his racist neighbors threatening him each time he does yardwork or go outside. Soo sad we still live in a world like this. Also I need to have a man to man talk with him about his health, his wife called me and he found a lump in his throat and doesn't want to go to the doctor's to check it out.. Start to clean the house today and Sunday.  Might go climbing today with a friend and go surf on Sunday afternoon and reward myself with tip top meat dinner by myself.

It's my first weekend without my kids at my house and NO MORE EX LIVING WITH ME!!!! Just trying to keep busy so I don't get depressed!

Did a road trip through eastern Oregon. Took the wife through area's she's never been, visited my parents'gravesides, some ghost towns, and a scenic drive over the Wallowa mountains (8k feet summit).

Some pics including the cemetery where my parents are buried. Beautiful spot at the base of the Strawberry Mts above John Day Or.

drove 6 hours one way to see game 6 of 10 left in my sons final 5th yr at college. We took another L, he got a bruised kidney early on but played the whole game, pissing blood at 1/2.

qb got horsecollared and bruised his collarbone and right guard torn acl, so unless a miracle happens it looks bleak. However they did play pretty good the whole

game but between stupid penalties and bad decisions on the qb they did what they could. But one day, just one day Im going to grab those effers by the face mask

and ask them WTF are you thinking!!!!!!!!! Because from where I sit its unbelievable lol.

Built benches and tables for son’s annual Halloween party on the 22nd.  14 kids this year.  Mr. Ferris Bueller.

Car is almost ready. Had to have the turbo rebuilt and decided to finally ceramic coat the header. Super pumped on the finished product.

Took the kiddos down to the Irvine pumpkins patch. Total chit show, glad we got there right when they opened.

Now smoking some stuffed bell peppers.
