Its Saturday Oct 28th 2023.. what is everyone up too this weekend?

Getting ready for Vet's weekend at Mother G. Bought a bad ass graphics kit for my YFZ450, also bought a six pack rack, a whip and oil/filter for a fresh change. Tomorrow going to install the sand tires/wheels on the quad and fabricate a new heat shield for the exhaust.

Went to my grand daughter’s baptism in corona. Worked on putting panels and body back on the 50,000 excavator. Did some serious work on that over the last three months. Radiator, alternator 3-5000psi hoses. All seals at main control valve, water pump, drive belts, $800 in powder coating, electrical issue, major pressure washes ( like 4) idle shut off control cable. All filter changes ( pilot, return, another I don’t even know what it is  and plexus filters)  then went to our next door neighbors Halloween party, band and dinner

Front row at the shitshow but pulled out tonight. Stopped at the Town Pump in Westmoreland on the way home for a dry aged bone in rib-eye and the steak alone was worth the trip.  Stefan’s Day prep tomorrow and finish cleaning up a website restore that happened last night :banghead:

1st trip - of the season - what a shi* show with all the people in the washes...but like always, no one in the dunes.  Went to see the water by China Wall...it's pretty amazing how much water is in the area...cool to see and a lot of happy plants.

Yesterday picked up a 68 ford torino for a quick flip. Then watched dbacks hammer the rangers.  Go dbacks

Tried to deliver the rhino to a potential buyer. Deal fell through. Lucky I got paid for the delivery.

Now just sitting on the couch watching football.

Pumpkin carving with the family later tonight.

Realizing the season is here and need to get rail tuned so it's ready.

Took my son to the zoo yesterday with his cub scouts.

I worked on some knives. I wanted to put a knife together for my dad and me for our elk hunt in a couple weeks. This is his first elk elk hunt so I wanted to do something special. I still need to finish them both but they are almost done. My knife is the one with green skins and my dad's has the wood ones.

Going to toss up some Halloween decorations this afternoon. I slacked this year and didn't put up the whole spread but need to toss something up

Wife went to a birthday party so I was messing around I the garage and doing some ittle things.  Getting lunches ready for this week and noticed the sink draining a bit slow.  Well....  it's not a little alow now, it's a Lotta slow.

So...  gonna do this when the sun goes around the corner of the house.

Was supposed to be in Boston from Wednesday to Sunday. Watching my son play hockey, celebrating my daughter's 18th and just having a great time.

We canceled, sent my son solo and have been watching him on live stream, they are 3-1-1. Not a bad weekend.

We canceled because my Father in law is facing his last days, been on hospice care for two weeks and its almost time. Diabetes and Lukemia have shut his body down.

I could not have asked for a more caring, sincere and man of his word then this gentleman. He taught me allot by example on dealing with life's challenges and still loving God in an unfair, unjust world.

All the family is now here, we are with him everyday.

Pray for my wife.
David Mendez Sr. went to be with the Lord today, he is at peace and we will mourn our loss and smile about the wonderful person he was.

Rest in peace.

I'm glad we were by his side at the end.
