That's the problem. Never make plans. Yesterday my neighbor stopped by.
He was hardly able to stand, mumbled something and sat down in my recliner.
After a bit of sleep, I drove him to his house 4 doors down.
I ended up taking him to the ER.
He had experienced a diabetic event, fell asleep driving and wrecked his car.
He had lost his phone in the wreck, and I called his mother and atty for him.
The ER was to call me if he needed ride home, but so far, (5am today) nothing.
I updated his mother after I returned home late last night.
I'll follow up today with his mother and the ER.
I've known him since he was 10. (55 now)
Edit to add:
He returned to his house 3 am, and hit the bed hard. I called his mother
to find out any updates and found this out. He didn't want to call me as I had helped
him out already. I tried to see if he was okay, but he was asleep hard.
Around noon Saturday he was up. I drove him over to the Sheriffs office
(Imperial x Normandy)to attempt to find the tow yard for his car.
Many phone calls to discover the yard is closed weekends.
Next stop was the CVS for medicine.
Now, it's late Saturday and time for a meal. The favorite is "The Burnt Tortilla"
and we chow down. I drop him off at his house, he hits the bed hard again.
Today, more adventures, try to buy a car.
