Grabbed the trailer out of storage yesterday. Not sure why I ever put it away. Probably go through it today.
Smoking 2 chickens later.
Flying down to SD Thursday to spend the weekend seeing friends and family.

Visiting friends in Yuma.

Trying to make a gopher carbon monoxide killer...plan is to put liquid that will smoke once hot (they sell it) - to help determine where the leaks are in the ground...and the end fitting sits a standard garden hose.
So sick of gophers and a lot of people seem to think this trick works. For $3,000 you can buy a machine, but for about $50 bucks this should work for me...hope to find out next week...need to wait for the smoke juice.

7 years ago I finally got tired of the little bastards and did something similar to that. I filled the front tank on my obs Ford oil burner with used motor oil and ran a length of 6" plastic flex to the newest hole in the ground. A lot of trial and error to get my contraption right and pumping burnt oil into the ground for 2 years worth of springs got rid of them. Haven't seen a mound in the last 5 years.

I used a upside down 5 gallon bucket with a fan mounted on the bottom. Set several road flares in the hole with the ends touching to light the next flare before the previous flare burns out. The neighbor thought it was funny until the smoke trails started showing up in his yard.

Still recuperating from 12 days in glamis and 5 days at work. Hoping to get 1 more trip in to glamis before it gets too hot.

Went to Tierra Del Sol this weekend. Good times, but the wind was nuts. Left 2 windward side windows open on the motorhome, came back to a sand dune inside. Whoops.

When our 18AAA season came to an abrut end, we were able to join at the end of a season for a Jr. Men's team in Long Beach. My boy got to play all 7 games and did really well, scoring each game. Jr. Men's division is a natural fit for his physical style hockey...he can be a SOB LOL

Our goal for this upcoming season is Jr Men's A division in Alberta, Canada AJHL.

Did you see my old neighbor Myris there?

She's a bit over dressed there.

Maybe, there was a section in the stands that had a group of "Puck Bunnies", she may have been in that group.

Hockey Guys can pull, just saying. LOL.

Despite the season that team had, its a great group of guys that really enjoy having fun and we are good friends to the owners. #SmallWorld

Finally got my private driveway repaved! 120 yards by 10ft wide.

Also wrapped up most of the front landscaping. Irrigation was completed. Had to bring in over 100 cu yards of dirt and over 15k sq ft of sod.

Automated gates go up this weekend, weather permitting.
