Its Saturday July 8th 2023... What are you doing this weekend

Been working on the new RZR today. Took it for a rip around the neighborhood with the dog. Going to a buddies 50th white trash birthday party tonight.

 
Took a trip with a buddy to Kartek - 1st time for both of us...picked up new paddles while I was there and put them on the wheels.

This is the only one as they forbid them inside. They provide the suits. You are way inside the mountain side. They had the biggest man-made invention of its time inside there. It was a huge brass brine pump. Worked for 110 years non stop. It would pump the brine like 300 feet up inside. Big underground lakes. Small tunnels that small trains would transport you from A to B. Incredible history and facts about that mine. It was an 1.5 hour tour

Just a bunch of shift work…. Going on a cruise next week so getting some hours in!

I don't think the troops got that far north in Italy during WWII before the Germans surrendered. 

That does look like the road in James Bonds Goldfinger that we first get to see a Mustang

Pulling storage tanks out of the TH. Previous owners put flex seal or some other crap  on the drain and fill connections. Started leaking on me .

Pulling both tanks and getting new spin fittings done on all penetrations.

All the brackets and braces were welded in.  Kind of a PIA. But ill.make it better. And removable.

I miss the G group parties, we hosted a few and have been to many. Always was a great time

 
Spent about 5 hours trimming the hedge on the south side of our property.  that thing has been out of control for a few years & it was time to cut it down a bunch.  this old-ish body is NOT happy this morning.  LOL.  on the plus side, I have my view of the lake back.

When you put them back together, see if you can use some flexible hose in between them...the rigid fittings don't give them anywhere to go, so it goes up to the tanks and they come loose at the tank. 

 
I would use a 90  on one and a barbed fitting, then a T with a barb for the hoses to connect too, then put the drain on the end of the T....

 
Adding some window trim, drywall patchwork w/ some cleanup and Painting Bedrooms.

Roller Hockey Finals in Irvine all week.

Team Beach day at Huntington beach on Sat was really nice...BBQ'd i don't know how many burgers for 40 plus teenagers.

 
Went to corral canyon and hit some trails in the wildcat xx with my dad in his wildcat x. Regrettably didn’t stop to take pictures on the trail.
