So its the weekend again what is everyones Plans. Hope you all find a way to stay cool..

I been dealing with a stomach issue so not much sleep last night so after going to Grocery store and etc i will be not far from the House probably

 
Well our 20 day vacation has ending. Last week we visited cities in Switzerland; lucern, Interlaken, Geneva, Zermatt, Bern. In one pic I’m at 12,300 feet and pointing to the real Matterhorn. It’s rare that this mountain is not cloud covered but on this day it was beautiful. Then the wife and I went parasailing for the first time. You can even see the peak of the Matterhorn in the distance. I asked the pilot how hard can you turn. He said the sail can pull 3G’s. I said let me feel it. He did a corkscrew and oh my it was a rush. I’m guessing it was 2 G’s at least and it was sustained. My buggy pills hard but not like that!  Our trip was a bucket list. The ride on bikes was the crown jewel. Switzerland was great but Austria and northern Italy were beyond beautiful. High for the trip was probably 90 but most of the time 70-80. It’s a must trip!  Flying home from Dublin right now!

sorry ChEFF,  last post like this for awhile. Need to rest from my vacation!

Whelp.... it would appear I decided I was going to start the weekend with a bit of a hangover.... 

gonna look at the ac in the truck.  Go visit my MIL,  couple of concert ideas with the wife.  Meet up with my youngest Sunday about lunchtime. 

 
Detailing my two trucks (mostly interior). It's amazing how good looking these two trucks are! Waiting on the engineer drawings of the two retaining walls left to be completed. I think the footing will need modification. Watching The Open like @sndsamplr. Just put the old house on the market. Check it out on Zillow. 1814 Teton Dr Grapevine, TX 76051. Open House today. Hope the front door is wearing out the hinges. Had to take the kids to the airport early this morning. Went to the old house to brush the pool. Gotta keep that thing looking NICE. Pool sells the wife / kids. Garage Mahal sells the Man. Peace

 
Feeling a little frisky today, so Slap is gonna catch some tubes….

Slacker Saturday today, watching F1 qualifying and the Open like @sndsamplr .  Gonna ride a non electric bike up to MB to watch the Manhattan Beach Grand Prix (bicycle races), then down the street to Brewco for a few pints and back to Hermosa to see what other shenanigans await before rolling to a friends for BBQ treats this evening.  Tomorrow is "church" (ie the guitar shop jam down the street) where I will lead a sing along of Drivin N Cryin's "Straight to Hell" with the choir and a late lunch at Hermosa Brewing Co with music friends . . .

 
Planning to ride my mountain bike to Huntington Beach and stop at the local Jeep dealer to see if the bike will fit in the back of a 2 door Wrangler. 

 
Finally got another weekend off. Spent the morning cleaning the garage. Do my best to drink and relax!

Yep, a little side fun for Slapster SB…

And Cheff be correct, Slap dabbled in tumbling…Ms. Fringe toed lizard  recommended it…said it was good for the joints…so anything to make the CV’s feel better on the McSlapmachines…

But Slap has to tell you that the funnest form of Olympic Competition that Slap entered was da Big Wheel Half Pipe Competition, where Slap earned his 4th gold medal…hot damn what a day that was…

This is da a snapshot of da gold medal run, that was soon made into a 15 foot bronze statue that graces the entrance to the Olympic stadium of Brazeltine Scentiala, where the gold medal run happened.  And Slap didn’t even use the mid air brake on the SlapMcWheel to win the gold.  Slap was feelin it SB…

Would be on the 5 heading up to Oregon dunes but had to cancel with the back/leg injury. Instead I’m chilling in the AC, watching motocross and then the Angel game. Chill out tomorrow as well.
