It's Saturday Jan 25th 2025.. What is everyone doing this weekend?

Golfed Friday morning. Went to son’s hockey game on Saturday. Watching Supercross re-run and then the football games today.

Still looking for a house to buy in the Norco area. Toured about 7 of them so far. Getting frustrating.

20250126_120409.jpg20250126_120338.jpgRode a Greyhound bus to Bakersfield to buy this Road Glide. It's a 2019 and only had 1300 miles. Planning to put about 7k miles on it next month riding out to Daytona for Bike week.

Was sick with a stomach virus Wed-Fri.

Last night was the monthly GTG for the wife's friends so I was hanging with lil' man who came down with a fever. He fell asleep at 7-ish and so did I, shortly after. Mom returned around 10:30pm and we swapped roles.

4:30am, naturally woke for a make-up gym sesh because I missed Thur & Fri. Returned around 7:30-ish and wife looked like she was up all night so I showered and took care of business- laundry, grocery run, etc. It's now ~3pm and they're both sleeping/resting- a doc friend told me about the "Hot Toddy" as a better alternative to OTC cold/cough remedy.

This afternoon/evening: laundry, marinate meat for weekly meal preps, catch up on UFC 311. Will try to watch Jackie Brown, again. If time permits, Nosferatu.

Sun: Planet Fitness (6am) for massage chair + water massage bed then tanning bed. Put away laundry. Hope kid and wife are rested. Perhaps some menudo from the only place in Knoxville that has it. Then wait for playoff games. MAYBE a couple of bloody marys.

Big week upcoming- complete re-landscaping work begins after having irrigation installed....over 21k sqft of sod + 90 cubic yards of clean dirt, several tons of boulders, etc. I signed waivers to join the crew in doing the work...and cut down the overall cost. ON A SIDE NOTE: Hired a white landscape contractor with local residents as laborers. The paises who I invited to bid on the work didn't follow up on getting me quotes, estimates, etc. I was surprised but not surprised.

26th post and the only one In Glamis. Ended up just my son and I but had a fantastic time. Cold at night and a little breezy during the day but not bad. Lots of camps but not any traffic in the dunes.

Took the wife out for her birthday this weekend. Started at the range to shoot our new CCWs, went to dinner in LA Jolla, went to the comedy store, and got a hotel in LA jolla.

Finished the LiPo battery upgrade in my Moho. Was a pretty good project. I had to relocate many items in the battery bay to fit them in. Also installed a dc-dc charger with a selector switch a. smart shunt and a full disconnect switch for battery bank. I now have a 900AH house bank. Upgraded the solar charge controller too. All done with proper breakers, fuses and cable protections on all rub areas.

What part are you looking at? I take it you already have a realtor? My step son and our best friend are both norco realtors...what are you looking for I can ask them if they know of anything coming up... a LOT of stuff here sells before it even hits the market.

Yup we were there. Saturday was a little chilly. Was my 72 birthday and 42 time celebrating at Glamis. Nothing like a 25 mile ride for burgers and beer.

Went to San Antonio Winery in LA to celebrate the MIL’s 96th birthday. Now watching the rain. Everyone be safe and have a great weekend.
Grew up going there and watching my folks get hammered....LOL...then did it a few times in our 20's as well. It's been awhile since I been there...
