Its Saturday Jan 14th 2023.. What Y'all doing this weekend

What's with all the slow drivers... you mean you can't drive  85 in the rain?????????  Lots of totalled cars into walls and center dividers...

Bailed Glamis last night. Started sprinkling and I was already fishing to come home early.  Luckily my 15 year old has her permit so she drove home.  Came home to torrential rain in Julian.

Taking today off.  Really sore from some great rides with the kids.

I am getting things together to go to GLAMIS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't go at all last year, except to ride out, have a beer at the store, visit with some friends on Gecko and ride home. First time out this season, it's only over night to shake down the car after getting the trans refreshed, radiator fixed and getting it all back together but I'm going!

Had to clear a non county maintained road. The rain cause the hill side to give way and closed the whole road. I have a friend that lives on the other side with no other route out. Took about an hour to open up one lane  the slide was about 100 feet long

with 1/5 scale, we glue the foams to the wheel then use beadlocks, I have to mount 1/8 scale tires and dread doing that
The new tire jig I got from Assault R/C made it so much better gluing tires.

We had a Celebration of Life for one of dune family member, RIP Kiapo Chalk, this weekend is usually our guy's trip, haven't missed it in 20 years.  So if anything the celebration had our entire group there.

Then yesterday headed up to Idywild for some snow, water and some off roading
